NFR 2026 Competitors
Every year, the field for the National Finals Rodeo is set by the PRCA's regular-season world standings: the top 15 money-earners in each of the seven events qualify for Las Vegas.
The Seven Events
- Bareback Riding
- Steer Wrestling
- Team Roping (header & heeler)
- Saddle Bronc Riding
- Tie-Down Roping
- Barrel Racing
- Bull Riding
That's 15 qualifiers per event (30 in team roping, since it's a two-person event), all competing across the same ten rounds.
2026 Qualifier List
The confirmed 2026 NFR qualifier list is finalized by the PRCA at the close of the regular season. We'll publish the full list here as soon as it's official, ahead of December 3.
How Qualification Works
PRCA world standings are built entirely on regular-season earnings — prize money won at rodeos throughout the year, including the Playoffs Series that leads into the NFR. There's no separate qualifying event; a competitor's spot in Las Vegas is earned purely by where they sit on the money list when the season closes.
